  • Pilgrimage from FCHS to St Albans Cathedral - Year 11 fundraising event

    The pilgrimage will take place on Thursday 13th May 2021 to commemorate the first anniversary of Francis Dayrits' passing. We have chosen to walk to St Albans Cathedral as St Alban is our school's patron saint. 

    82 students and 7 members of the year 11 pastoral team will be walking from school to St Albans Cathedral. Some of you may remember the 2016 pilgrimage to celebrate our schools 90th anniversary. We will be taking the same route as this. The journey is approximately 23km in distance.

  • Peace Garden Project. Can you help?

    Just prior to the first lockdown we started the construction of our school ‘Peace Garden’, an outdoor Oratory for reflection and prayer surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation. This space will be used for a combination of things within our community, including RE lessons, Chaplaincy activities and a space for solitude and reflection.
