Thursday 6th February is Time to Talk Day – a day when everyone is encouraged to have a conversation about mental health.
You can talk about mental health at school
At Finchley Catholic High, we know that it benefits all of us to talk about mental health.
Time to Talk Day is run by Time to Change to help spread the word that you can talk about mental health anywhere.
We will be holding quizzes, offering drop-in sessions for students and other activities throughout the day. We will also be hosting a coffee morning for students and staff.
Time to Change is England’s biggest programme to challenge mental health stigma and discrimination and is run by the charities Mind and Rethink Mental Illness.
Around school, you’ll find posters and tip cards packed with ideas on how to start your conversation. There is also information about how to support others, and where to go if you need support.
It is important that we all support and get involved in this initiative to promote and support mental health well-being.
