We have recently revived the school’s historic House system to encourage competition between the different forms of the school and across different year groups, on everything from Lenten fundraising to sport. Each House has a Captain and Prefects, and these positions of leadership and authority are highly sought after to show that students can be trusted with responsibility and authority.
The House Calendar is packed with enrichment activities, whereby boys have the opportunity to represent their form and their house in a number of sporting activities. Each year group has a designated day for their after school house fixtures.
- Monday = Year 7
- Tuesday = Year 8
- Wednesday = Year 9
- Thursday = Year 10
- Friday = Year 11
Boys compete in a number of sports against other houses to collect points. These sports range from Football, Dodgeball, Basketball and Table Tennis.
Throughout the year boys have been collecting points by receiving merits and trying to get the fewest sanctions. Money raised at Lent was also converted into points. Throughout the year all pupils have the chance to represent their house in an inter-form football competition.
