The course will suit students with a keen interest in Sport and Physical Education. It is intellectually demanding and you will require good self-discipline and self-motivation to achieve results.
The qualification is equivalent in size to one A Level, and it has been designed as a two-year, full-time study programme.
What does this qualification cover?
Learners will study three mandatory content areas:
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Fitness Training and Programming for Health, Sport and Well-being
- Professional Development in the Sports Industry. Learners will also choose one optional unit from a range which has been designed to support choices in progression to sport courses in higher education, and to link with relevant occupational areas.
