As a Voluntary Aided (VA) school, Finchley Catholic relies on parental contributions for financial support to improve the site and facilities. In fact, the government requires VA schools to raise, as a minimum, 10% of the capital costs of any building; although in practice, we are often responsible for the entire sum needed.
Voluntary contributions therefore have a critical role to play in ensuring the school can continue to provide a high standard of facilities to our students. The School Development Fund exists for this purpose and we invite parents to support the appeal by making a contribution either via a one-off payment or standing order. Last month you would have received an email requesting donations for the School Development Fund. Thank you to all our families who have already kindly donated this academic year. If you haven’t yet the forms can be found on the school website under Wisepay.
YOU CAN HELP BY GIFT AIDING YOUR DONATIONS
A standing order form was attached to the email along with a gift aid form.
• All UK tax payers can gift aid their donations.
• We can claim, from the Inland Revenue, 25p for every £1 you donate.
The School that we have today is testament to the generosity of previous generations of parents. Please help us by donating and completing a Gift Aid form. Alternatively please email our finance department: email@example.com
