A group of boys from years 7, 8 and 9 enjoyed glorious weather at the weekend (5th-7th June) for the annual sailing trip to Tollesbury.
Once again, Mr Welsh is to be thanked for organising a very successful trip to the Fellowship Afloat centre based on the moored lightship pictured above. 26 pupils spent two days sailing and enjoying other activities such as climbing. This year's trip was particularly notable for two reasons: firstly the boys were particularly considerate in how quickly and quietly they went to bed on the Friday night and secondly for the capsizing of the staff boat - Ms Devlin, Mr Parker and Ms McCall spent the rest of the day somewhat damp but with a dramatic tale to tell!
