Exam Results

We are thrilled to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our students at Finchley Catholic High School. Their unwavering dedication to their studies has yielded impressive results, and we couldn't be prouder.

GCSE Results

We are incredibly proud of our students who received their GCSE results.

This year’s results reflect the hard work, resilience, and ambition of our students, supported by our dedicated staff and families. Our provisional Attainment 8 score is an impressive 62, and we are delighted to share some key highlights:

  • 46% of all grades were 9-7, with 14.5% at the top grade 9
  • 82% of students achieved grades 9-5, and 91% achieved 9-4, both showing an upward trend from last year
  • In Maths87% of students secured a strong pass (9-5), while English saw 85.5% at grade 9-5, up from 80% last year
  • Attainment in RE, English and Maths were outstanding, with 46% of students achieving grade 7 or above in these subjects
  • Science delivered an exceptional performance this year, with an impressive 66% of Biology grades, 72% of Chemistry grades, and 73% of Physics grades awarded at Grade 7 or above.

These results open doors to exciting next steps for our students, whether that’s A Levels, vocational pathways, or apprenticeships.

A Level Results 

We are incredibly proud of our students who received their A Level results -congratulations to each and every one of you!

From those who achieved straight A*s to those who met their personal goals, the vast majority of our students have successfully secured their next steps - whether that’s university, apprenticeships, or direct entry into employment.

Our students are heading into an exciting and diverse range of fields, including:

  • Quantity Surveying

…as well as traditional academic disciplines such as Maths, Economics, Geography, and History.

This year, our school achieved nearly 60% A*-B grades and recorded a very high progress score, marking a truly successful year for our community.
