Welcome from Our Head Students

Our Head Students are delighted to welcome you to our Sixth Form!

Rina

Head Student: Rina

Welcome to Finchley Catholic! My name is Rina, and I am honoured to be one of the Head Students here!

I recently had the privilege of joining Finchley Catholic High School in Year 12, and I believe that the staff and students alike have made this an easy and enjoyable process from the Induction days to our Open Evening. The community here was something I knew I wanted to be a part of. The emphasis on academic progress was something I valued as I knew that it was going to be a core part of my time in Sixth Form. However, the recognition of charity work and activities outside the classroom and how fundamental it is to your social and academic development as a student, was what I anticipated the most and can confidently say that through events such as our Year 12 Football Interform and 'Brave the Shave' events our Sixth Form community has grown to be more interconnected and understanding of the importance of charity and helping the wider community.

I hope that all prospective students will find a place at Finchley Catholic High School in the same manner that I did and create enriching relationships with both staff and fellow students. I deeply look forward to being Head Girl during this academic year and look forward to any responsibilities I will have in helping celebrate the school's 100th anniversary and making it a unique and memorable experience.

Charley

Head Student: Charley

Welcome to Finchley Catholic High School! My name is Charley, and I am incredibly proud and excited to be a Head Student during our centenary year.

Starting in year 7, as expected, I was nervous, joining as the only pupil from my primary school, but I was soon made to feel right at home. What makes Finchley Catholic High School so special is the focus on developing every part of our students academically, spiritually and personally.

I have had the great honour of partaking in the school in the senior football team, debate club, book club and many other activities over the years, making me very proud to represent this school. Our community has a unique way of challenging you to be greater than you think you can be, and then giving you the support you need to become that person.

The Catholic values we all hold run through everything we do, creating a community where every student feels valued, included, and inspired to reach their potential. From university programmes to apprenticeship guidance, the opportunities for futures beyond school here are truly amazing.

So, my advice to you would be to get involved, say yes to opportunities and enjoy every moment at this great school.
